Simply put, we believe the Word of God. No need for alteration or excuses. Our main beliefs can be summarized as such:The Trinity: We believe in the trinity of God. He is one in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Each serves a unique purpose in His plan of redemption of man to himself. The Christ: We believe that the Messiah that was long prophesied in the Old Testament has come and lived and died and rose again on this Earth. He came in the form of a small child born of a virgin, who lived a life without sin in order to be the perfect sacrifice for our sin. Depravity of Man: All men are born sinners. Because of this we have no righteousness on our own and can not have a relationship with God. We can not earn back the former closeness we had in the garden on our own, but by God’s Grace alone. God’s Grace Personified: God sent His one Son, Jesus Christ, to live a sinless life on Earth so that He might become the blameless sacrifice required to return us back to a right relationship with God. Jesus suffered the consequences of our sin and died in our place. He then rose on the third day conquering death and sin so that He now sits at the right hand of God acting as the intercessor for our sin. Our Response: We are called by the Holy Spirit to respond. Our response begins with the acknowledgement of our sin, our complete need for God, and our inability to live the life He has called us to live. Once we have recognized our need for Him we must believe that through Christ we can be redeemed of our sin and once again live upright through God’s grace and mercy.
